Non-student Life

This is the first time that neither of us have been students since we were married. Dale just graduated with his BA in music and is just working for the next 8 months until he starts law school. We've heard back from 3 law schools so far and Dale is scheduled to travel out to OK to tour their law school to help in making the final decision. For now, he is working part time with a local attorney and as a supervisor at Emergency Essentials.
I'm enjoying life with a husband who isn't constantly having to worry about homework, papers and exams, though I know it will be quite worse in law school. Pregnancy has treated me very well so far and as long as I take an occasional nap, I feel pretty good. Our little boy is growing healthy and strong so far and I've enjoyed low blood pressure, minimal swelling, and a negative blood glucose test which means I don't have gestational diabetes! I've definately hit the nesting phase as I constantly find myself trying to organize baby clothes, plan budgeting and figuring out what to do with Kimball who will soon have to give up his crib.
Speaking of Kimball, he is active and growing as ever. We played hide-and-seek for the first time the other day, and he was a very good seeker! He would find me hiding behind a door and would run back to the living room squeeling with joy. His vocabulary is steadily increasing with one of his words being something like "cocoa" for chocolate which he loves more than any kid I've ever seen. He even knows where all the chocolate hiding spots are.
All-in-all, life is good. We are blessed and cannot complain with all that we've been given. We're healthy, happy and strong.
